There are some tips that will help you raise your toddler so that they’re happy and well and you can grow a deeper bond with them. It’s all about being the best parent you can be and establishing boundaries so you two can have a rewarding relationship and future as parent and child.

Remain Patient

You must remain patient with your toddler as they continue to explore and try new things. You can all stay happy and well by not jumping to conclusions or telling them no right away. Instead, watch and observe and speak in a loving tone so that you can get on the same page and make sure they stay safe while yet still being able to act like a kid.

Focus on Play & Growth & Development

You’ll also want to start thinking about getting your toddler into activities and school such as Pre-K classes. You might want to double-check that the class you’re considering has ABCmouse as part of the curriculum since it can be a beneficial learning path for your child. Also, make sure you incorporate plenty of play and socialization into your daily routine.

Be Available & Present

If there’s one action you take as a parent of a toddler it’s to be available and present in your child’s life. They’ll be happy and well when they know they have your love and support. Give them your undivided attention when you’re with them and spend plenty of quality time together so you two can continue to develop your relationship and enjoy each other’s company.

Praise Often

Another tip for raising toddlers and keeping them happy and well is to give praise wisely and often. Let your toddler know you’re watching and that you’re proud of them when they accomplish goals big and small. Be vocal and encouraging and show and tell them that you’re there for them whenever they need anything. They’ll feel happier and more confident when they hear praises from you and know that you believe in them.

Be Observant & A Good Listener

You can also ensure you’re doing your part as a parent and keeping your toddler happy and well by being observant and a good listener. Focus on their health and be sure to take them to the doctor should they have any discomforts or ailments. Listen when they share information or feelings with you and let them know you’re there to help them work through these various situations and emotions. Make it clear that they can come to you for help and then eliminate any distractions and give them the attention they deserve. They may not always know what’s best for them but you can keep them happy and well by being more observant and attentive.
