The world right now requires a lot of time being stuck indoors, which also means date nights can be easily forgotten about. They are a vital part of a relationship having quality one on one time with each other. It gives you time to show each other how much you mean to each other and that you do care. Even if you are at home or trying to save some money there are some creative and great alternatives that you can have for date night. Here are some for you to try.

This is a collaborative post

Make Your Own Pizza Night

Instead of just ordering take-out and sitting in front of the TV, opt to make it yourself. It can be a fun thing to do together and something different. Make the dough, choose your toppings, you can even try to make the stuffed crust if you are brave enough. You are spending extra time together while you make it then you can snuggle up with your homemade dinners and watch your favorite show.

Movie Or Series Marathon Night

There is nothing better than getting into a new series or watching one of your favorite movie series like Harry Potter or Lord Of The Rings. Choose a night where you don’t have to do anything and just relax, get some snacks and wine and spend the evening cuddled up watching your favorite things. Most things are streamed these days as people don’t really watch cable anymore. But with so many options it can be hard to know which cable alternatives are the best. Always check for reviews and see what they offer and how it will best suit you so your date night can be perfect for everyone.

Tech-Free Evening

Go old school and give up the screens for the night. You can try puzzles and board games to pass the time. You can also bake some tasty treats like cookies or muffins and go for a nice stroll together in the evening just enjoying each other's company and embracing the moment. Then when it is time for bed, instead of laying next to each other with your heads buried in your phones, maybe give each other a massage or talk about your day. It gives you a real chance to just be with each other.

Have A Picnic

Nothing is stopping you from throwing down a rug on the living room floor and enjoying a romantic picnic with your other half. You can still go for the classics, bread, cheese, fruit, wine, and some tasty treats like chocolate-covered strawberries but it will mix things up and make it a special night to remember. If the evening is particularly warm you can even just have a picnic in your back garden, Have a little garden fire pit lit for s'mores or for if it gets chilly, or take out a lot more throws and blankets to wrap up in.

So there you have it, a few ways to make time for each other on a budget in the comfort of your own home.
