Creative Doodle Book for Girls

Who doesn't like to doodle and color? Seriously. I know in our house, creativity is an every day thing and it shows in our ever growing craft and art supplies in various areas in our house. My daughter especially spends so much of her time coloring and drawing so she couldn't wait to dive into this new book.

Let me be the first to say that this coloring and doodle book is absolutely adorable! My daughter has a hard time calming down sometimes, and I know that coloring books can often help me relax and unwind, so we keep our house stocked with coloring books, crayons, pencils, markers, and so many other creative accessories. She spends a lot of time in her room coloring and drawing pictures, so she was excited to dive into this book when it arrived.

To start, the book has cute little step by step doodles that has us saying "Awwww! How cute!" My favorite was the cactus page, but there are various other little doodles as well that are perfectly girly and easy to draw.

After the pages of step by step doodles, there are a number of fun coloring pages that will have you itching to grab your crayons! These weren't real elaborate pages, just simple yet cute illustrations to color like mermaids, flowers, symbols, and so much more. One more thing to mention is that the pages are one sided, and the backside is completely black. This is so that you don't have to worry about bleed through to the back page and ruining a perfectly good picture like often happens with regular coloring books. You can also just rip the page out and hang it up, too, because how cute would that be! So in essence, this coloring book can double as decor in a bedroom or school locker.

The next section is themed doodle areas. This particular one is space themed (because I love space and celestial things), where you can doodle little UFOs, aliens, stars, planets and space shuttles! The possibilities are endless, and there are lots of different themes here.

The last bit of the book is called the "Doodle Diary" where you can just doodle or write whatever your little hearts content. The pages do have fun little designs around the edges, but all are completely blank and available for whatever you choose to do on them.

The book is geared towards young girls, but realistically this is an all ages book. The pages are so cute that you'll spend hours coloring and doodling all through it.
