Host A Poppin' Game Day Party

If you are getting ready for Big Game Weekend with family and friends, you know that food is one of the most important parts of the party. What's game day without some snacks, right?

This is a sponsored post on behalf of our favorite popcorn brand, G.H. Cretors.

Your party will definitely be poppin' when you add a little G.H. Cretor popcorn to your game day snack table.

We love snacking on popcorn pretty much any time, and G.H. Cretors has become a favorite of ours with their large variety of flavors. I personally love the caramel popcorn. It's not overly sweet, but oh so delicious. We included a little sampling of their popular cheese and caramel mix, as well as two brand new flavors Buffalo & Ranch and Cheese Lovers, which has a combo of cheddar and white cheese popcorn. Did I mention they are perfectly fluffy? They are seriously like little clouds.

We aren't big game fans in our family, but you know what? Why should game day be just for sports fans, right? You could easily turn this into a big game themed gaming party in general. Set up some themed tables, and decorations (don't forget the photo booth props), and just add a table of board and card games for everyone to play together. You can have stations set up where multiple games can be played, or you can all sit down to one game.

Most important, is the food itself. We made sure to have plenty of foods that can be eaten with your hands. Because who has time for fork and spoon while gaming?

We had a variety of chips, buffalo dip, ranch and veggie pinwheels, salsa, a variety of subs, brownies, punch to drink, and of course our popcorn!

If board and card games aren't your thing, what about hosting a big game themed movie party? A good recommendation for movies is Remember the Titans. It's family friendly and just overall a really good film. Because nothing goes better than a movie and popcorn!

Hopefully this helped you "tackle" an idea or two for your next big game party.
