Ripley's Believe it or Not! Shatter Your Senses

I've been obsessed with Ripley's Believe it or Not since I was a child. I don't know if it's my constant thirst for knowledge, or just a love of discovering the world around me, but I have a fascination with the weird, but true stories. Just as I loved the series that was hosted by Dean Cain back in the 90's, I also love the brightly colored hardcover books that they release each fall and this year's is packed with even more weird but true stories.

I love getting these books every fall, and so do my children. They area always so excited to see all the cool, weird, fascinating facts about people, places, and things around us. They are like me and have a real thirst for knowledge, so it's sort of a learning experience for them. Shatter Your Senses is the newest Ripley's book, this time with a bright blue cover. It has the iconic Ripley's Believe it or Not eyeball that appears to move when you move the book, just as the past books have had, and is still filled cover to cover with fully color illustrated pages packed with quick facts. Both of my children especially loved the full page on Pokemon facts!

"Ripley’s Believe It or Not! Shatter Your Senses! is filled with thousands of strange stories, bizarre feats, and hair-raising oddities from around the world. Discover the sport of underwater ice hockey or marvel at the flower that bloomed in space—it’s all weird and all true! Bursting with vibrant and eye-catching photos, as well as submissions from our dedicated readers, this book is a must-have for every Ripley’s fan".

In addition to the new annual, my husband and I are also going to be visiting the Ripley's Believe it or Not Odditorium while we are in Baltimore, Maryland at the end of this month as well. So if you are a Ripley's fan like I am, make sure you watch for my coverage of that!
