December's BookCase.Club Unboxing

There's nothing better for a bibliophile than to receive books for Christmas. Except maybe receiving 2 books in your favorite genre each month in your mailbox!

BookCase.Club does exactly that! You can choose from 8 different categories:
Thrill Seeker - Mystery/Thriller
Strange Worlds - Sci-Fi/Fantasy
Teenage Dreams - YA
Read to Me - Children's picture books
Blind Date - Paranormal Romance
Booking for Love - Romance
Cookbooks - (Quarterly) Cookbooks
Military History- (Quarterly) Military History

And they just recently introduced BookCase Kids where you can receive 3 books based on your child's age.

Newborn-2 years
2-4 years
5-6 years
7-8 years

All for $9.99/month with options for everyone!

I've been getting the Teenge Dreams box because I just have a special kind of love for Young Adult novels, even at the age of 32. Each month I have been so excited to see what books were picked and this month, I was suprised to see that both books are hardback! So clearly the price of books in each ox, completely surpas the price of the box itself, making this definitely worth the subscription.

I've had to rearrange my to-reads list each month because I keep getting new books that I get so excited to read next. And being a bibliophile, I have an overflowing library of books and always get excited to add more.

A little info on the books:

Diamond Boy by Michael Williams
"Diamonds for everyone." That's what fifteen-year-old Patson Moyo hears when his family arrives in the Marange diamond fields. Soon Patson is working in the mines along with four friends, pooling their profits for a chance at a better life. Each of them hopes to find agirazi, a priceless stone that could change their circumstances forever. But when the government's soldiers come to Marange, Patson's world is shattered.

Set against the backdrop of Zimbabwe's brutal recent history, Diamond Boy is the story of a young man who succumbs to greed but finds his way out through a transformative journey to South Africa in search of his missing sister, in search of freedom, and in search of himself.

A Matter of Heart by Amy Fellner Dominy
Sixteen-year-old Abby Lipman is on track to win the state swim championships and qualify for the Olympic trials when a fainting incident at a swim meet leads to the diagnosis of a deadly heart condition. Now Abby is forced to discover who she is without the one thing that’s defined her entire life.
