Your skincare routine will only be as good as the ingredients that feature in it. For instance, it isn’t always wise to create a routine that is built around harsh man-made ingredients. These can aggravate and irritate sensitive skin, which could have the opposite result to what you wanted to see. Not only that, though, but a lot of man-made ingredients that are used widely in skincare products aren’t always that good for the planet. For this reason, a lot of people are now turning to natural skin-care products and even looking into making their own DIY ones.

There are so many great natural ingredients that you should be using on your skin. They can bring exceptional results and will make your skin a lot healthier and youthful looking. What’s more, you might even have some of these natural ingredients in your kitchen already!

Witch Hazel

Your mother or grandmother might have already told you about the wonders of witch hazel. That’s because it is a wonder ingredient that has been passed down through generations. In addition to getting plenty of it in your diet, you should also apply it directly onto your face. There is some research that suggests creams and lotions that contain high levels of vitamin C make the skin more prone to sun damage.
