Creatives Must Have: The Cricut Explore Air 2

Cricut Explore Air 2 is one of the coolest machines for creatives. With the holidays coming up, it will come in handy for so many things, and now that I have one myself, I cannot wait to show you all the great, useful things it can do. Whether you are creating things to sell, gift, or for yourself, home, office, or school, The Cricut Explore Air 2 is going to be your must have product going into 2020.

This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Cricut. The opinions and text are all mine.

I have always loved making things. I'm that person who makes a lot of my home decor, holiday decorations, gift bags and boxes for every occasion, and whatever else I can come up with. So naturally, it seems logical for me to give the Cricut Explore Air 2 a chance as it makes creating amazing projects of any kind simple, fun, and more professional looking.

Have you ever made something intricate that you had to trace out and then cut by hand? Something that made you wish you had a machine to do all the work for you to cut down on the time it takes to create the project you're working on? That's where this machine comes in handy. You'll be amazed at everything it can do. It cuts over 100+ materials such as cardstock, vinyl, leather, specialty papers, and more. The possibilities really are endless with the things you can create.

With the Cricut Explore Air 2, you have access to Cricut's free design software, Cricut Design Space. Cricut Design Space can be used from your computer, tablet, or mobile device. I have been using it from my computer for right now, but I find that using it from your tablet or mobile device is even easier. Design Space offers a plethora of projects and graphics or you can choose to upload your own graphics and create your own projects. There are featured graphics for many well known brands as well, which means if you are looking to have custom family shirts made for your next Disney vacation, look no farther than your own home and your Cricut Explore Air 2 with Cricut Design Space.

Setting up your new Cricut Explore Air 2 is really simple. You will have easy to follow on screen instructions for setup and you will be up and running in less than 2 minutes. In addition, your new Cricut comes with a few sample papers. These are used for your first sample project that will help you get use to using the machine and materials it comes with such as the cutter, pen, and grip cutting mat. Design Space will take you through another easy to follow tutorial, this time teaching you how to use the software and machine to create a cute little card such as the one in my featured image. The machine not only cuts the card for you, but uses the pen to write a beautiful message across the card! So fear not those of you who hate your handwriting. This machine has you 100% covered!

Not only did I find this simple and a great project for a first time Cricut Machine user, but I actually thought watching the machine write and cut was pretty relaxing. The grip cutting board kept the paper from moving so everything stayed lined up perfectly and peeling the finished project off the board was also kind of relaxing to me. I foresee a lot of my projects with this being a huge stress reliever for me.

Want to see the machine in action? I caught a short clip of it finishing up the card.

I already have so many ideas for projects planned and I cannot wait to share them here with all my readers. With the holidays coming up, I'm hoping to not only teach you all the incredible things you can do with your Cricut Explore Air 2, but also give you great gift ideas and fun family projects to try out.

Let's talk, creatives!
Do you have a Cricut Explore Air 2 or other Cricut machine? What kind of creative projects do you or would you like to do using one of your own? Let me know in the comments!
