Treat Mom to A Sweet Spa Day Any Time

What mom doesn't enjoy or need a nice relaxing spa day, or what lady in general, for that matter? I, myself, look forward to Sunday nights after my children are in bed, so I can relax in a bubble bath, with a nice glass of wine, some great soothing music, and my face slathered in my favorite facial mask cream. I've always enjoyed receiving bath products as gifts, because it's like my friends and family are telling me, "Here, take some time for YOU." Because lets face it, baths are things you take when you actually have time. Showers are what you take when you only have a 5 minutes before someone is barging in the bathroom, asking for a cup of juice or where their flashlight is.

The brand we know and loved as kids, Mr. Bubble, has now introduced a line of products just for us ladies (and men, too, if you like!) called Luxe by Mr. Bubble. Enjoy a guilt free cocoa bar with their new cocoa butter bars that dissolve in your bath water and not only smell marvelous, but leave your skin silky smooth and moisturized. I prefer the sweet and clean to the original bubble scent, to be honest, but both smell sweet and are absolutely amazing. They also have Bath Bombs, Bubble Bath, Shower Cream, Fragrance Mist, Lip Balm, and Body Butter. All of which have a very retro 50's mom look to them, which is very cute. You can check out their entire line here

Village Naturals Aromatherapy also has an absolutely blissful line of products as well. We use a lot of essential oils in our home because you can use them for literally anything. You can add drops to your beauty products, diffuse them to freshen the air, use them in homemade household cleaners, and even add a few drops to your bathwater. The tea tree and sweet oil perks up your senses and is great to use in the morning to wake you up a bit. Citrus generally does have a scent that wakes you up, and if you have children, this oil is great to keep lice away. Not that we really want to think about having to do that, but let's face it, it happens. The tea tree oil is widely known to deter the lice, and the sweet orange is a nice fresh scent. The lavender and chamomile is a much more relaxing scent, best used at night. This is one of my favorite scent combinations, and I use it every night. Some nights I add it to my diffuser, other nights, I add it to my unscented lotion or in a spray bottle with a little water, to spritz my pillow and help me sleep at night.

The bath bombs by Village Naturals Aromatherapy are amazing. If you are new to bath bombs, you just throw them in your running bath water, and they fizz and dissolve. These do give your bath water a hint of color to it, but it isn't much, and it doesn't stain at all. These bath bombs don't dissolve as quick as other's that I have used in the past, so I did have to break them up a bit in my hands, but they did make my skin silky smooth, which I loved. My daughter also really liked these, so they aren't just for mommas! Tweens and teen girls like them as well!

I'm pretty partial to these calming products, since I am all about trying to relax and calm myself after a long stressful day. If you are more interested in essential oils, you can check out their current selection on the site.

Mother's Day is fast approaching. Why not show mom you care, by filling a basket full of these luxurious items she can use to pamper herself every day.
