If you love a good mystery, you will love Brooklyn on Fire by Lawrence H. Levy.

Brooklyn on Fire, A Mary Handley Mystery, follows private detective Mary Handley as she goes on a case to find out what really happened to a man who seemingly passed away from a heart attack. Hired by the man's niece, who turns up dead herself and under a completely different name, Mary sets out to get the truth of what happened and it brings her some unexpected surprises, family scandal, politics, and even romance. Mary ends up travels from one state to another as even more deaths, connected to the original case, need investigating and those she loves come closer to danger.

I've loved mysteries ever since I was in school and I discovered Agatha Christie and this book is so hard to put down. You get really engulfed in the entire story and trying to figure out exactly what is going on and who's to blame for all the deaths that keep happening. The book really intertwines some historical figures into the mystery and takes you on a ride through suspense and brings you to a satisfying ending that will have you wanting to start the book all over again.
