Moore's Marinades & Sauces: Not Just for Meats!

I love when a product is pretty versatile. Meaning, I can use it for multiple things, especially when it's food. You can really get creative and bring a meal together with products that can be used on everything from meats, to veggies, to pastas, and Moore's Marinades happens to be one of those magical products.

This time of year I do a lot of cooking and baking for Christmas dinner and large extended family meals, so during the week when it's just the 4 of us, I try to go a bit easier on myself with meals. I've been experimenting a little with Moore's Marinades.

Did you know Moore's variety of marinades and sauces can be used on pretty much everything, not just meat? I didn't even think of this until recently. We use the Original Moore's Marinade for my juicy steak kabobs. These kabobs are always a huge hit with everyone, including the kids.

The week before Christmas, I raided the pantry and threw together a quick pasta salad and burgers for the one night's dinner. I did use a little Moore's Original in the burgers, which was absolutely delicious. But I also decided to try out Moore's Zesty Garden Herb Marinade. I used this on my pasta salad, which really just was a bunch of things I had in the fridge (cheeses, pepperoni, mild pepper rings) and some pasta.

I honestly only used about a half of a bottle on my salad, so I put the rest in the fridge to test on other things later. I did try out about a teaspoon of it in my mashed potatoes on Christmas day, and I'll be honest, you would be surprised how good it was! I think I may use some of this on some roasted potatoes and veggies at some point.

Other things I decided to "toss" some marinade in while I was prepping holiday snacks was our cheeseball and Chex Mix, which I used a little bit of the Original Marinade in both of those. So see what I mean about these marinades being incredibly versatile? And you don't even have to stop there, Moore's Marinades has a really great section of recipes on their website that you can check, try, and get inspiration.
