Get A Healthy Glow Year Round

I'm one of those people who don't tan. Both because it takes a lot for my skin to actually tan, and because I want to avoid sun damaged skin as much as possible. Looking much older than I am due to sun exposure isn't on my bucket list. Neither is skin cancer. So I tend to stay in the shade when I'm outdoors, and still put sunscreen on. I am also super pale, and still want some way to get a little bit of color to my skin without all the damage and unhealthy effects the sun brings. There's sunless tanner and sprays, but lets face it, you still look orange with those and I'm not trying to be one of Willy Wonka's Oompa Loompas. So what's the solution? Divaderme Vacation in a Bottle II!

Divaderme Vacation in a Bottle II is a natural semi-permanent makeup spray with a little bit of a twist. In addition to lasting healthy glow, it also provides anti-aging and skin repair.

It comes with a soft applicator, and you spray the Vacation in a Bottle II onto the applicator then apply to your face. Although the spray comes out super dark, which concerned me a little, it goes on much lighter.

I sprayed it on my arm as a better comparison for you than my face. The reason for this is because in a before and after photo, side by side, you could just barely see the difference. On my arm, however, you can really see the difference in color from my forearm to my wrist and hand. That's not from the sun by any means. That is 100% this semi-permanent spray.

Now for my observations about this spray. First and foremost, it really is long lasting. I've had the spray on my arm and face for over a week and it's just starting to fade. This is with daily washings. Of course, how long yours lasts is going to be determined by how often you shower or exfoliate and if you are doing so lightly or really scrubbing.

The spray seems to go on much better if you spray it directly onto the skin. The problem I ran into is the applicator is small and I have long, natural nails. While holding the applicator, I managed to get spray on my finger and nail on the first few attempts. This stained my thumbnail and finger for a good while since it really is semi-permanent. in addition to that, the solution seemed to go on much more evenly when sprayed directly as I believe the applicator absorbs some of the solution before you can get it on your face. Because of this it may take more applications. instead, I do a small spray on each cheek, and forehead and then blend out with the applicator. That worked better for me personally. Just don't hold it too far away from your face because the spray is not only unpredictable on where it will go, but it really does stain everything, including clothes.

I did noticed the smell of sunless tanner, of course, but that only lasted a day at most. If this is a problem, plan ahead. Apply the spray a day or two before an event or date and the odor won't be an issue.

You don't have to wait for it to dry to see it. It goes on dark and blends into skin well and evenly, but you will also be able to full see where you are applying to prevent streaks and spots. This is one huge reason it's better than just using a sunless tanner. Most sunless tanners I have used in the past go on like a lotion and you cannot see if you missed a spot until after it dries. Even the wipes are unpredictable.

When it comes to the anti-aging benefits, I cannot tell you for sure how that works. I'm going to be 33 soon, and while I've been using anti-aging products since I was 19 (yeah, I started early), I have very minimal signs of aging. This is due to my diligence on taking care of my skin and the massive amount of water I drink daily. So for me personally, I use it for the sunless tan and natural glow. Most days I don't even need to wear foundation or concealer, which is also a benefit to my skin because it has time to breathe and not be covered in pore clogging creams and powders.
