Find Your Inner Peace With Chakras Insence Sticks

I haven't used incense sticks since the 90's, so in all honestly I didn't even realize they still existed or that anyone still used them. I am, however, real big into relaxation and meditation, so I gave these a chance.

Everything you see in the photo comes in this set.
If you are not familiar with Chakra, it's essentially energy centers in your body. Traditionally, the idea of Chakra is found in Buddhism and Hinduism. There are believed to be 7 energy centers in the body and you may be a little more familiar with it if you practice yoga as deep breathing and yoga help center your energy Chakras.

In Buddhist texts, the Chakra centers of the body are aligned down the spine from it's base to the very top of your head.

This set comes with 7 incense sticks that, when lit during meditation, will help focus and align that energy Chakra. Of course, you can use them simply as a relaxing fragrance that will flow through your home as well.

Primary Aromas for each type of stick are as follows:
1 – Root Chakra - Muladhara – Patchouli & Vetiver (Vetyver)
2 – Sacral Chakra – Svadhisthana – Ylang Ylang & Jasmine
3 – Solar Plexus Chakra – Manipura – Bergamotte & Ginger
4 – Heart Chakra – Anahata – Sandalwood & Rose
5 – Throat Chakra – Vishuddha – Frankincense & Peppermint
6 – Third Eye Chakra – Ajna - Cinnamon & Sage
7 – Crown Chakra – Sahasrara – Frankincense & Myrrh & Lotus

Each stick lasts about an hour, and I can attest to feeling much more relaxed at least after burning one and doing some deep breathing, meditation techniques. I've also done some yoga while burning them, or just having a cup of tea and reading while burning one. I still don't fully understand the Chakra thing, but I have to say, I do like these incense sticks. I found that the crown Chakra stick was my favorite, but the Third Eye one is a close second. Apparently those are two areas that I need to work on more, as I seemed more focused with those two.
