Busy Family Calendar

Look, I know the common is conception seems to be that stay-at-home, work-from-home, or bloggers in general just sit around the house all day. That couldn't be farther from the truth. We are just as busy if not more than those working outside the home. Do you have any idea how many times I have forgotten a doctor's appointment or even open house at my daughter's school? Way too many times to count. Mom's and dad's are busy. Any person who takes care of children is busy. That's just the way of things. So we need some way to organize all those appointments without trying to keep them all sorted in our heads that are already cluttered.

The Busy Family Calendar is extremely useful for keeping track of everything. That is, if you can remember to write it down, am I right?

It's a 17 month calendar that comes with a variety of helpful and colorful stickers to mark dates. This makes it easy to see at a glance what you have coming up, and kids love marking dates on a calendar with stickers. My kiddos especially love this as they can visually see how many more days until our next vacation, road trip, or family dinner. There are stickers for school events, days off, doctors appointments, vacations and breaks, as well as stickers for chores and dinners. I don't think there would be enough chore stickers to keep it going, or meal stickers for that matter, but the meal stickers could be saved for special dinners (like our big family dinner days), and of course, more stickers can be made and printed to use.

The calendar also features a little pocket, where you can keep appointment cards or birthday party invitations so you can double check times, numbers, or anything else you don't have marked on the calendar.

My favorite part is the calendar itself. Each month is decorated appropriately with colorful illustrations and the date spaces are big enough to write multiple things in (for us families that have full days regularly). These were a few my favorites, because as you know, September through December are my favorite months of the year. I didn't get a photo of September to add, but trust me, it's as adorable as all the rest. I mean, look at December 2018. CUTE!

If you are like me, and frequently forget what date a holiday falls on (Hey don't judge! My mind is full of more important things), like Easter, for example, they are clearly listed on the calendar right next to the date number, still giving you plenty of room to write your schedule in. This has been a huge help in keeping me organized right along side my daily planner that I use for my blog scheduling. Yes, I need two calendars; one for family things and another for blog things including press trips. It's a crazy mess, I know, but I told you I was busy. At least now I can keep track of things outside of my head!
