Yumms! BBQ Grilling Mat Review

Ah yes, it's finally grilling season again and we couldn't be more excited. This is the time of year when we start having lots of cookouts with family as well as just cooking out on the grill during the week. Generally, we put foil down on the grill. However, foil sometimes burns to the grill grates and you still have issues with cooking certain foods on it. Some foods still want to stick a bit. That's where Yumms BBQ Grilling Mats come to the rescue!

You get two of these non stick mats. The photo above is showing two, but they are slightly overlapped to fit on our grill. My husband really enjoyed cooking on these. As a matter of fact, while I was in the kitchen making the cauliflower and broccoli salad for dinner, he came to the door and stated that he gives it his seal of approval. He said the steaks were so much easier to flip on the mat.

That's the look of a happy grillman!

I really like that they kept our food from getting burnt. The steaks were cooked just right. My husband even decided to grill up some cauliflower seasoned with garlic salt and butter on the grill. These mats are perfect for grilling veggies because you don't have to worry about your food falling between the grates. Usually we would just use foil packets, but if you are at a park or public place grilling, who wants to lug a thing of foil with you when you can just take these two mats along? That's another great advantage of using these. I don't know about you, but I'm not excited about grilling my food on park grills. Who knows what kind of stuff is on those things and I never see them get cleaned. Throw a grill mat on and you don't have to worry about it.

They are really easy to clean. I just used warm water and dish soap and they wiped right off. No scrubbing required.

Even better, you can use them in the oven as well!
