Have you ever been out someplace and go to use your phone, only to realize it's almost dead and you have no way to charge it? This is a frustrating situation, especially in the event of an emergency! This is why it's a great idea to invest in a portable charger like the +Lifeguard Mini.

The hubby and I area always going to conventions and my phone also doubles as my camera (saves room in my bag), but usually halfway through the day, my phone starts to die and I lose out on photo opportunities. This actually happened at the Brett Michaels concert we went to a few years back. My phone was fully charged when we got to the concert, but halfway through (because I was also taking video), I had to shut it off because the battery was dead. I missed lots of great pictures, which really sucked because we were right down in front.

Tell me you wouldn't be disappointed with your camera or phone dying during an opportunity like this?

So naturally, I finally just realized I should give a portable charger a try. The +Lifeguard Mini is a little "weighty", but it's small and fits in your pocket or bag. You can just charge it before you leave the house and take it with you or keep it in your desk drawer or vehicle to use when needed.

Like I was saying about the conventions, previously, if I wanted to charge my phone while at a convention, I had to find some place to sit near an outlet and missed out on the convention or I had to miss out on photos. The other alternative was to walk the entire way to our vehicle and sit there in the vehicle charging my phone. No fun. The +Lifeguard Mini is small enough that I can just plug my phone into it and throw it back in my purse.

I love the min portable charger so much, I'm considering buying a few more to take with us to Disney. Disney has charge stations, but I feel it would just be so much simpler to use portable chargers. It fully charges your device in 1.5 - 2.5 hours and still has enough juice to charge another device. It's also impact resistant. It can be recharged 800 times and is compatible with iPhones, iPods, HTC, Samsung, Motorola, Nokia, Sony and other cell phones, MP3, MP4, digital cameras with DC 5V input.
