Click 'N Dig Key and Item Finder Review and Giveaway

Click 'N Dig Smart RF Item Finder is a great way to find lost keys, remotes, cell phones, and pretty much anything you can think of that you might "misplace".

This set comes with 6 receivers and one main unit. Three of the receivers are flat backed and come with little stickers to attach them to flat objects such as a remote. The other three can be hung from keys. The remote unit has a ring on it to hang it in a central location as well. You'll want to make sure you place this part where you will remember it, perhaps next to the front door.

Each receiver is color coded to a button on the main unit. Just hold down the button for two seconds and the receiver will emit a beeping sound which will help you locate your lost item. I tested this out and found that the range of the transmitter is up to 60 feet. The site says the batteries last from 3-12 months but that's entirely dependent on how often you use it. The set does come with replacement batteries for all the items.

I did get this to transmit between two rooms, but our walls are thin so I'm not sure if that had anything to do with it. You can find things under couch cushions (Trust me, I gave t a try).

To be honest, this is kind of a sanity saver. Sometimes my kids walk off with the Kindle and I can't find it for days, often times finding it in the oddest of places. This will help me keep tabs on it. You definitely do not want to be losing something that expensive.

Hubby and I joked that I could attach a receiver to him while I'm sick and when I need something, I can press the button to alert him that I need something from a few rooms away. I suppose it would work for that as well.

I believe that this would be a great gift for just about anyone this holiday season.

  1. Oh my goodness!! With a three year old that loves Mommy's keys.. and after three children, I have been known to accidently put them down in places, IE the cupboard or still in the lock in the front door, that you normally wouldn't think to find your keys.. I so need this to help me keep track of my keys! LOL
