Bella and Bear Eye and Mighty Curler review + GIVEAWAY!!

Through the years my eyelashes have went from adorable to non existent. They are short and stumpy and my husband (who has long gorgeous lashes) is always rubbing it in that I need to apply a thousand coats of mascara and wear false lashes. Otherwise, I look like I have no eyelashes at all. It's especially bad if I'm wearing eyeliner.

I've purchased many eyelash curlers through out the years. Some worked fairly well, other's didn't. I pretty much had given up on eyelash curlers when I purchased the last one from ELF Cosmetics. Not only did it not fit my eye area and I couldn't get all my lashes curled right, but it actually CUT my lashes and made them even shorter! I was so upset. I may have actually cried a bit.

I had the opportunity to test out Bella and Bear Eye and Mighty Lash Curler and thought I may as well give it a try.

The box that it comes in is so adorable and perfectly girly that you really just want to keep it in the box. It's great if you are giving it as a gift. The curler itself is well made. The handles have a harder rubber and is easy to grip. There's even a place to rest your middle finger while you are curling so it's more comfortable. It's spring loaded and takes a bit to squeeze it which makes it more effective in my personal opinion. unlike other lash curlers, the rubber pad does not need to ever be replaced. Often times, its hard to find replacement pads that do the job or fit in your curler properly. You won't have to worry about that with this one. It's also designed in a more rounded shape which gives your lashes a more natural curl rather than crimping them like other brands.

It actually curled my lashes and was simple and quick to use. Literally just clamp it down once for a few seconds, then apply mascara. It curled mine enough to make them look longer once I put my mascara on. Like I had previously mentioned, I typically have to use multiple coats of mascara to get them even remotely noticeable. After using this, I only needed one coat.

  1. I think one of my beauty secrets (although it's not a secret to the whole world, as I found the tip online) is if I want to maximize the length of my eyelashes, before I go to bed every night, I'll put a little bit of olive oil or Vaseline on the tips of my lashes.

I would recommend you try this as well. It might actually work for you as well! Just be careful to not let the olive oil or Vaseline touch your eyes, as it can cause irritation.

If you give this tip a try, I would love to know the progress of the growth on your lashes! (:

    1. Thanks for the tip! I've actually tried this and it really did work! I too had found the tip online right after the ELF lash curler had cut my lashes and it really helped they are significantly longer than they were.

  2. Ok so my tip is...have you ever had a hard time trying to take off gel eyeliner, waterproof mascara and even regular face makeup. Well 2 months ago I bought a bottle Purity by Philosophy!!!! Wow this stuff is amazing!!! It just melts my makeup off!

  3. May sound weird or painful but it isn't.... I was taught by my auntie to spray my face with hair spray after my makeup is finished. this will keep every thing in one place and nothing will ever smudge or wipe off on clothing. It never stings my eyes or leaves a film I have been doing it for 15 years now.
