Surprise Bluum Box!

At this point you are probably thinking, "Didn't you say twice now that you halted your sub to Bluum?"

Yes, I did. That's why this is titled "Surprise Bluum Box". I don't know what happened, and quite honestly, I don't care, but the day after our 24 month Bluum box (Officially our last in the subscription) arrived, this one showed up on our doorstep. I checked the address just to make sure it wasn't delivered to me by mistake, but it had our name on it and address. I actually checked my email that night and the shipment confirmation had just showed up so I had no idea it was even coming. The only thing I can make out is that I won a free box from a promotion or maybe I got one because I'm a mom blogger who has reviewed every box we've gotten. Who knows, but it was a nice surprise!

I had almost expected this box to have the same things as the one we got the day before did because I assumed it was some sort of mistake, but it had different items in it.

The other one had two books in it and this one had two puzzles! Maybe since it was his 24 month box, maybe this was Bluum's birthday gift to him.

Melissa & Doug Wooden Jigsaw (Farm)
Retail $9.99

This one is still a bit too hard for my son yet, but he sure tries! It's great for hand/eye coordination and as always with Melissa & Doug toys, it is very well made and will last for years to come.

Melissa & Doug See Inside Peg Puzzle (Numbers)
Retail $7.99

We had already gotten the alphabet and shapes see inside puzzles in a previous box and so this was a great addition to our collection. My little guy can do this puzzle pretty easily and he enjoys shouting out the numbers as he puts it together. We are also using it to teach colors.

Bumpkins Large Snack Bag
Retails $4.95

This was also a brand we had gotten in boxes previously. We have two of the smaller snack bags that you would use for little finger foods such as goldfish crackers or pretzels, but this one would fit a sandwich or maybe apple slices. They are well made and come in a variety of designs. Bumpkins also makes bibs (which we also got in last months box), cloth diapering, teething jewelry, travel accessories, and dishware. They also feature Disney Baby and Dr. Seuss characters.

Peaceable Kingdom Match Up Game (My Body)
Retail $9.00

This is a heavy duty card game (with a puzzle on the back so two games in one!) that you can play as a matching game or use as flash cards. There are pictures of different body parts on each card and it's a great way to teach body parts. My son is still too young for the matching game so I hold up a card and say what's on it, then ask him to point to that body part ("Where's your nose?").

iPlay Disposable Compressed Wipes
Retail $4.50

This, in general, is a great idea! It's small enough to fit in your purse or hook onto a key chain. I guess you could even keep it in your glove compartment of your car or desk drawer. There are 20 compressed wipes that fit into the tube and all you do to "activate" them is add water. It's a simple solution if you just need to run a quick errand and don't want to lug around a full diaper bag. You can grab a diaper or two and this and toss them right in your purse or keep them in the car. The one and only thing I can see wrong with this is the possibility of something spilling on the extras you can't fit into the tube. As you can see, the tube only holds 10. So until you are able to fit the extras int he tube, I would suggest carrying them in a zip lock baggie to prevent accidental "activation" of the wipes.

I would say that this is it for the Bluum box reviews, but I've discovered that I have a free box coming from cashing in my Bluum points! Lucky Duckies!
