I've Discovered the Fountain of Youth!

As I mentioned in my review of Avon Anew, I'm still young enough that I don't have a ton of fine lines and wrinkles. But it's never too early to start treating them. The earlier you start using anti aging products, the healthier your skin will stay as you get older.

I have been using anti aging products since I was 19. I'm now vastly approaching the big THREE-OH and it's time to really get serious about it.

I present to you, the Holy Grail of anti aging products, Adovia Mineral Eye Gel!

This eye gel combats puffiness, dark circles, and wrinkles making your skin feel great and you 10 years younger! It's absorbed quickly into the skin and hydrates the eye area.

I couldn't wait to try this! The gel is cool to the touch (unlike a lot of other eye creams) and that's what helps reduce puffiness and dark circles. There's no scent to it, and a little goes a long way, but I feel I should mention that because of the coolness of the gel, it did make my eyes sting but only for a few seconds. If you are putting it on before bed, that shouldn't be a problem anyways since your eyes will be closed.

I use this twice a day. I apply this in the early morning after I wake up and let it be absorbed while I'm brushing my teeth or getting my kids ready for the day and then proceed straight into my daily makeup routine. Then I use it again at night after my shower/before bed.

As you can see, there's quite a bit in that jar. When you apply this, you'll want to use your ring finger and dab it on the under eye area lightly. No rubbing! Rubbing stretches the skin and actually causes the wrinkles! You want to be as gentle as possible which is why it's a good idea to use your ring finger as it exerts the least amount of force on the sensitive area. You may also use a cotton swab if you wish.  So not a whole lot is needed and this jar should last quite a long time.

This was this morning as soon as I woke up. Notice the dark circles and puffiness that comes from another night of zero sleep. Ahh the joys of motherhood coupled with insane insomnia!

I put some of the eye gel on right after taking this photo and then proceeded to get my daughter off to summer school, make my son breakfast, and brush my teeth. Then I took another picture.

This is my "after" picture

I'm not sure how well you can see it, or if at all, because my lighting isn't ideal anywhere in my house at 7am, but it lightened my dark circles and reduced the puffiness. You can REALLY tell in person. I can also feel the difference. My skin around my eye area is a bit tighter and honestly, the gel gives a refreshing feeling to the skin much like the feeling you have after a full day at the spa!

I'm a mom of a two year old and an eight year old diagnosed with Autism. I don't get much sleep if any at all. So the fact that this tiny jar of eye cream can freshen my eye area enough that I don't look like a walking Mombie (Mom+Zombie) everyday is astonishing!

This eye gel will run you $29 with free shipping from Amazon Prime for a 30ml jar. A little steep price wise, but when you consider the effectiveness and the fact that a little really does go a long way, I think it's well worth this price!

You can find this product and others in the Adovia line on their Amazon page or their web site, Adovia Spa.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
