Influenster TLC VoxBox of Goodies

Hello mommy friends!

Today I will be reviewing this lovely little box

This, my friends is an Influenster voxbox. Influenster is this great site that sends out test products and reward goodies to members. Once you sign up and connect your social networks, you can do surveys and review products to earn badges.

As you can see, there are many badges to earn! These are the Life Style Badges and there are also Expert badges to unlock as well.

You also get badges each time you are sent a box as well as badges that can be earned by doing product missions.

Here you can see the box badges that I have earned so far.

This time around I received the TLC voxbox put together for the moms of the Influenster Nation. By the box name, you could gather that it would be filled with things for moms to pamper themselves with as mommies need a little TLC as well (although we rarely get it)!

And this is what came in the little purple box.

Not quite what I thought would be in a TLC box...

Among the contents was a Neosporin Neo To Go (retails for anywhere from $4.97 to $7.50) which is a no sting spray that fits in your purse or diaper bag and is ready when your little one (or you, you never know!) gets the inevitable cuts and scrapes. It's designed specifically for one handed use which is perfect because mommies don't seem to have enough hands as it is! In addition to the obvious purse and diaper bag, I could see this being perfect to keep in your car, camping equipment, or tool box.

I also received a package of Puffs Plus Lotion To Go ($0.49 per single pack). I usually purchase a big package of these for my daughter each school year. We throw one in the car, the little sir's diaper bag, my purse, and dear daughter's backpack.

The coupon is for a free container of Breyers Gelato Indulgences ($4.49-$5.99). Who doesn't love free ice cream?! They come in flavors such as Vanilla Caramel, Tiramisu, Raspberry Cheesecake, and Tripple Chocolate. I just died and went to Gelato heaven. Now, the product card states "...this campaign will show couples how to create the perfect date night at home and have a new reason to 'spoon'", but I'm pretty sure no woman wants to share her ice cream. Am I right, ladies?

The card is a Shell Fuel Rewards Network Card. You can get these for free on their site. This is for their loyalty program and lets you save money on gas each time you use it. For instance, When you use your card while dining out, you earn 10 cents/gal for every $50 you spend and can also be used when purchasing from over 700 brand name merchants which will net you 5 cents/gal for every $50. Some merchants even offer rewards more than that. The card says that "New members save 25 cents per gallon on their second fill up and 3 cents every time after"! With gas prices what they are (and they keep rising!) this card is nice to have.

This is the second Ivory Soap bar I've received from them in the past few years so this is nothing new to me. People seem to either love Ivory Soap or completely hate it. I'm still on neutral ground to be honest. They normally come in a box, but this one came packaged in what I can assume is an homage to the classic packaging. This soap has so many uses. For one, you can put it in the microwave and get this:

  • Add some Borax and Arm & Hammer Washing Soda and you can make laundry detergent
  • Add vinegar to it to make shampoo
  • Grab a grater, a bar of Ivory soap, some food coloring, and a little water and you can make bath crayons
  • Can be used as a facial cleanser
  • And I have heard of people using it to clean their make up brushes although I really do not recommend that.
The smell is actually quite nice and it floats, which is supposed to be a sign that it has no harsh ingredients.

This last product was the one thing (other than the ice cream because, well, ICE CREAM) that I was really excited about getting. Avon Anew Reversalist Express Wrinkle Smoother retails for $30!! You may think you don't need something like this if you are under the age of 40, but truth be told, it's never too soon to start using this sort of thing. I've been using cheaper wrinkle creams since I was 20. I also use to sell Avon so I know how good this product is. It reduces the look of wrinkles and fine lines INSTANTLY! It goes on as a cream but turns to a powder so your face isn't shiny and it doesn't get cakey either. Visit Avon.com and receive 15% off an Anew purchase of $50 or more with the code ANEW15. But hurry! This code is only valid until 8/1/14 and can only be used on direct delivery orders!

If you would like to sign up for Influenster, there's a link at the sidebar of the page. It's a great opportunity to test products and share your honest opinions with the product companies as well as others in your social networks. And it's not just for women! Influenster now offers boxes for men as well! Right now the male voxboxs are limited, but the more men that sign up, the more they will be available.

**Disclaimer:
I received these products complimentary for testing purposes from Influenster.
