Avon Anew Reversalist Review

I recently had the chance to try Avon Anew Reversalist Complete Renewal Express Wrinkle Smoother (Whew! What a long name!) compliments of Influenster. It's one of many items in Avon's Anew line of anti aging creams and serums. It's a finishing cream that turns to powder in a handy little compact. It reduces the look of fine lines and wrinkles instantly.

Formulated with Tri-Elastinex to enhance skin cells' ability to renew, regenerate and reconstruct itself. 2 out of 3 women agree that skin is left feeling renewed for a younger, smoother, virtually line-free look. -- Avon

This cream goes on colorless and works on any skin tone. The directions say to apply after moisturizer or foundation, but I find that if you apply it before your makeup, it also acts as a primer. I tried both ways. I actually prefer it as a base.

Here are a few pictures I took for comparison. Brace yourself! I'm rarely seen without makeup on.

Photo #1: No makeup; no cream. You can see mommyhood has taken it's toll on the area around my eyes.

Photo #2: No makeup; cream around eye area. Here you can see that it brightened up my eye area a bit.

Photo #3: Makeup; Cream applied over top of foundation around eye area.

As you can see, it made a little bit of a difference when applied all by itself without the makeup. I don't currently have much of a problem with fine lines and wrinkles due to only being 29 and having used anti aging creams since I was 18. Not that I needed it back then either, but I didn't want to wait until I started getting them to do something about it. It's easy to think you don't need creams like this in your 20's, but a lot of foods and environmental elements tend to take it's toll on your skin early on. The better you take care of your skin in the early stages, the better it will look as you get older.

I would give the products in the Avon Anew line a try. You can contact your local Avon rep or visit for more information or to place an order.
