Quaker Soft Baked Oatmeal Cookies Review

Okay, so I've had some time to review all my goodies from my Influenster Mom Voxbox, which if you are not familiar with Influenster, its a site where you earn badges and based on your demographic and badges earned as well as activity on the site and socially online, you may receive a box of goodies from time to time to test and review. Pretty good deal.

The first review is of new Quaker Brand Soft Baked Oatmeal Cookies. In the box they sent the Oatmeal Raisin flavor for review.

Now, I don't actually have a photo of the actual cookie they sent me. Reason being is because my husband was the one who opened the box (I guess he was just as excited as I was to see what was in it) and as soon as he saw edibles, down it went.

I did however, manage to get a bite of it so I could properly review it.

The cookie is exactly what it says it is...soft and chewy. As a matter of fact, I'm actually really picky about my cookies. I hate hard cookies. They have to be extremely soft and extremely chewy so when I bit into this, I was in heaven. The oatmeal in it is most definitely Quaker brand oatmeal. I've had many oatmeal raisin cookies in my life and a lot of pre made store bought ones have this generic oatmeal taste to it. Quaker seems to have it's own taste. And it's good. Trust me. It's not a dry taste like normal oatmeal cookies. The raisins are nice and soft as well.

Enough about how delicious they were (although, that's obviously the best part, but I don't want to make you drool all over your computer). Lets get into some more info on these cookies.

-They are made with Whole Grain Quaker Oats. Definite plus. It's a cookie you don't have to feel guilty about!
-They come in a box, individually packed so perfect for on the go, in lunches, controlling how many you eat at a time....okay maybe not that because these things are so good, you might find yourself surrounded by empty cookie packages after you swore you'd only eat one. But hey! Like I said, Whole Grain! I guess that's a good enough excuse to me!
-If it's not a good enough excuse to you then maybe this one is...They provide a good source of fiber! Hey! There ya go!
-Still not convinced? How about this, Grams of fat per serving? Six. No seriously, only 6 grams per serving. I swear it. I wouldn't lie to you.

Wait, there's more. Yeah I know, you're ready to just go buy a box already, right? Before you do, here's something to consider. They come in different flavors as well! Well how about them apples!

Brace yourself!
-Apple Cinnamon
-Chocolate Almond
-Banana Nut
-Cranberry and Yogurt
-and of course, Rasin

And at about $2.69 for a box of 6 cookies (which can be found at most major retailers), I would say it's worth picking up one of each!
